Hepatitis C

Hepatitis C is a health crisis waiting to happen in Britain according to some medical experts. The virus was discovered just 13 years ago but it is estimated that a quarter of a million people have the disease. Worryingly, many thousands more may not even know they are infected – or be aware that they have ever been at risk of infection.

The problem is that Hepatitis C is a ‘sleeping’ disease. The initial symptoms are mild – poor appetite, fatigue, minor aches and pains – and a carrier is without symptoms for up to 95 per cent of the time.

This means that the virus often goes undiagnosed, which can have fatal consequences in the long term as damage continues to be inflicted on the liver, resulting in cancer or end-stage liver disease in some cases. Indeed, Hepatitis C is the most common cause of chronic liver disease, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (a form of malignant liver cancer) in the West.

The virus is transmitted through sexual contact and by blood-to-blood contact. Like the AIDS virus, Hepatitis C can be transmitted through reusable syringes, needle sharing and blood transfusions.

Conventional treatment is based on the drug Alpha interferon, but besides being expensive and poorly tolerated, this treatment is only effective in one in five people and has many harmful side-effects; these include nausea, headaches, irritability, depression, thyroid abnormalities, pulmonary complications and retinal damage.

Finding a safe, natural treatment that can limit the damage done by the virus has been a research priority for scientists in alternative medicine – and at last it seems their efforts are being rewarded in the form of a herbal product called Eurocel.

Eurocel provides a non-toxic way of bringing symptoms of the virus under control
Eurocel contains a blend of three Korean and Chinese herbs, and recent pilot studies have found it to be a safe and effective remedy in the management of Hepatitis C. These herbs include Patrinia villosa, Artemesia capillaris and Schizandra fructus – all of which have been used for centuries to support the regeneration of liver cells, increase bile flow, reduce inflammation and for their anti-viral and liver-protective properties 1, 2, 3, 4.

A study involved a group of 10 Hepatitis C patients, all of whom had elevated liver enzymes (indicators of liver damage). Patients were given two 500mg capsules of the three herbs twice a day for 24 months.

The results showed that their viral load gradually decreased from levels in the billions to levels in the thousands. Elevated liver enzyme levels also dropped to normal range and patients reported improved quality of sleep, increased energy levels, improved body weight and smoother skin 5.

In a separate analysis undertaken by the Institute of Life Sciences and Chungbuk University in Korea, the blend of herbs was shown to be non-toxic6.
Eurocel has been used in recent years by approximately 30,000 people in South East Asia, with no adverse effects reported.

The results were astonishing… Eurocel should be a first-line supplement for Hepatitis C

According to Dr Charles Mary from Louisiana, in the US, Eurocel has been ‘a tremendous benefit’ to his Hepatitis C patients.

‘Without fail, ALL of them have had a reduction in their transaminase [a liver enzyme] levels, many dropping back to normal. It’s also a wonderful adjunct to our other protocols, such as intravenous peroxide and high dose intravenous vitamin C. The results have been astonishing.

‘In our opinion, Eurocel should be a first-line supplement for Hepatitis C as well as other chronic and acute hepatotoxic conditions.’

Dr Mary cites one of his patients, known only as Linda, as an example of the benefits of Eurocel. Linda contracted Hepatitis C in 1970 at the age of 20. This was many years before the virus was identified, and when she first presented with symptoms she was diagnosed and treated for icterepatitis (acute hepatitis).

Despite suffering low energy levels and reduced stamina, Linda managed a normal lifestyle for the next 20 years. Then, in 1990, after exhibiting signs of anaemia, weight loss, skin rashes and gastro-intestinal distress, Linda was finally diagnosed with Hepatitis C.

She sought advice from conventional medical and alternative practitioners and by following a well-balanced diet, avoiding alcohol and using the herb milk thistle, she managed to maintain her liver enzymes at reasonable levels. In the latter part of 1999, her enzyme levels started to escalate rapidly and her symptoms, which included headaches, muscle aches, depression and fatigue, started to get worse.

Eurocel helps lower harmful liver enzyme levels and viral load

In desperation, Linda began to research Hepatitis C on the Internet and that is where she learned of Eurocel. After taking Eurocel for six months, her liver enzyme levels dropped dramatically, as did her viral load.

After 18 months on Eurocel, Linda reported widespread health improvements, including better concentration, improved sleeping patterns and improved skin condition.

Linda said: ‘I’m very excited about the future in store for Hepatitis C patients regarding this product. At present, the choices for patients who are not severely ill, but who could benefit from relief of constant inflammation of the liver, are limited. To the majority of Hepatitis C sufferers in the chronic, but not severely affected, category, I can recommend Eurocel as a viable and efficacious treatment.’

What to take for best results

It is important that you see your doctor if you think you may have been at risk of exposure to Hepatitis C or are suffering from the infection. A blood test is the only way to confirm the presence of the virus. The suggested dose is two capsules of Eurocel three times a day between meals. Alcohol should not be consumed while taking Eurocel – in fact, alcohol should be completely avoided by anyone suffering from liver disease.
